Michael Burton is a recognized industry leader who has managed some of the nation's largest public and private capital program portfolios with values exceeding $50 billion. His experience includes serving as Senior Vice President managing the construction management program for the country's largest engineering CM/PM firm, and Executive Deputy Commissioner at the NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC), responsible for a $4.1B Capital Program. He was the key government official responsible for the engineering and construction operations of the World Trade Center recovery effort starting on 9/11. For this assignment Mr. Burton received numerous awards including Engineering News-Record's Award of Excellence, along with national and international recognition from media and public officials.
Mr. Burton holds a Master of Business Degree from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Manhattan College. He actively serves on numerous New York Building Congress committees, and was a member of the Mayor's panel on New York City's construction costs.
