NYCSCA Construction Management Emergency Response Program

LiRo is working on the third of three consecutively awarded contracts for the CM Emergency Response Program. We are managing and coordinating construction responses to critical project needs of the NYC School Construction Authority that have ranged from extensive, major reconstruction of numerous school facilities to installation of sidewalk sheds and safety netting. Reconstruction projects that would typically take a whole year have been finished in a 90-day period during the summer, working around the clock, while school was not in session. Under these contracts, we have successfully completed in excess of 500 projects in a highly expedited manner. All projects were completed without impact to school operations and opened on time for the school year.

LiRo's comprehensive scope of services includes, amongst others: work with the SCA and consultant teams to assess and respond to existing conditions; development of approaches, scopes of work, schedules and budgets for the program's projects; solicitation of and subcontracting with consultants vendors and contractors; evaluation of cost proposals and recommendations to award; implementation of the program's construction work under a PLA; and coordination with the SCA and regulatory agencies regarding project certificates of occupancy, inspections, and all closeout and punchlist items.
