Winthrop-University Hospital Research Center Energy Model

Winthrop-University Hospital Research Center Energy Model

Winthrop-University Hospital's Research Building required energy modeling services to apply for a NYSERDA grant under a strict timeframe. LiRo was contracted to provide the services for this project directly to the hospital. We analyzed over 100,000 sf, four stories, 10 HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, with 300 individual spaces in a four-week timeframe. The model was successfully delivered on time. The building did not qualify for the NYSERDA grant because of the programming of the building, however it was subsequently used for PSE&G rebates after the construction was complete. LiRo facilitated the coordination between PSE&G and Winthrop during the rebate process.
