Peter has established an impressive nearly 20-year record as a professional civil and structural engineer. His work entails the design and administration of projects that have a wide range of size and complexity. He has extensive project management experience on a variety of institutional, infrastructural, healthcare, commercial, and private development projects, for such major clients as the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, DASNY, the United Nations, NY Office of General Services, PANYNJ, Massport, Mount Sinai, MSKCC, RXR Realty, Vornado, Lennar, amongst others.
Recognized as a standout team leader, Peter is attuned to clients’ needs and quickly develops successful, pragmatic solutions to challenging issues. He possesses a thorough knowledge of the engineering industry and effective project flow. In addition to serving as a contributing lecturer at Cooper Union and Pratt Institute, he also has authored a sustainability reference guide, co-authorized a white paper on disaster resilience, is a certified safety evaluator/ emergency responder post-hurricane and earthquake, and served on the 2021 New York City Department of Building’s Building Code Committee.
Peter is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, California, Oregon, Washington, and is also a DBIA Associate, a NYC Qualified Retaining Wall Inspector, and LEED AP BD+C Certified. His education includes a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and Geomechanics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University.
