About the Project

LiRo-Hill supported Suffolk County in its development of a minor league baseball facility by providing construction management services for the project. The project included a 6,002-seat capacity facility; 20 sky boxes; grass playing field; lighting for night games and television broadcast; video scoreboard and audio systems; multiple concession areas; media center and broadcast booth; dugouts; locker rooms, administrative offices; and ADA compliant toilet facilities.

Project Challenges & Solutions

LiRo-Hill joined the project team during the conceptual design stage. This was an extremely high-profile, fast-track project with a tight, critical schedule. It was LiRo-Hill’s responsibility to monitor the design schedule and develop the construction packages to complete the project by opening day, which it successfully achieved.
