Overview
LiRo-Hill is providing architectural and engineering design services on an as-needed basis for renovation and rehabilitation projects at various NYPD facilities throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Types of construction projects include: all interior renovation work; hot water heater replacements; reconstruction of apparatus floors, sidewalks, and parking lots; boiler replacements (including converting from oil to gas); roof replacements; HVAC rehabilitation; retaining walls and fencing; plumbing rehabilitation; façade restorations; overhead doors replacements; electrical upgrades; asbestos abatements; window replacements; and historical restoration.

To assist design teams, LiRo-Hill VDCO used 3D laser scanning technology to capture all existing facilities, creating precise 3D models of the current conditions. These models were used during the planning and design stages of the projects. Additionally, during the design phase, we produced visualizations to support the community approval process.
